This Privacy Policy explains how Innovatek Software (Innovatek di Cafaro Carmelina, VAT IT06424410659), publisher of the Lalo Academy app for Android and iOS, handles information in connection with the app and with this website. Lalo Academy is a learning app made for children aged 6 to 9, and protecting their privacy is our priority.
1. A note for parents
Lalo Academy is designed for children and follows Google Play's “Designed for Families” requirements and Apple's App Store guidelines for apps for kids. Settings, the progress report and the optional in‑app purchase are protected behind an adult check and a 4‑digit PIN, and the app does not ask children for any personal information.
2. Information the app collects
Lalo Academy does not require an account or login and does not collect personal data. Learning progress, preferences, the optional child's name used for the greeting and the optional “who plays” choice are stored only on the device and are never sent to us. We operate no servers that receive data from the app. If device backup is enabled in your phone's settings, the operating system may include the app's settings in your own Google or Apple backup, under your account; we have no access to it.
3. No advertising, no analytics, no tracking in the app
The Lalo Academy app contains no advertising, no third‑party analytics, and does not track users across apps or websites. It uses no advertising identifier and includes no third‑party SDKs. The voices are recorded clips included in the app. The app makes no network connections other than communicating with the Apple App Store / Google Play to process the optional in‑app purchase.
4. In‑app purchase
Lalo Academy offers a single, optional one‑time purchase that unlocks all games. This purchase is initiated behind the parents' gate and is processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store any personal, payment or account information; the app only learns whether the purchase is active, and this status is kept locally on the device.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent or share any data from the app. No third party receives data from the app. Purchases are handled by the platform's own store (Apple or Google) under their respective privacy policies.
6. Data retention and deletion
Because all app data is stored locally on the device, uninstalling Lalo Academy — or clearing the app's data from the device settings — permanently removes everything it has saved, including the child's name and progress. No action on our side is required.
7. This website
This website (laloacademy.innovateksoftware.com) is meant for parents. It uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits only if you accept in the cookie banner. Until then, and if you decline, no analytics cookies are written (Google Consent Mode). If you accept, Google Ireland Ltd. processes pseudonymous usage data (pages viewed, approximate country, device type) on our behalf; we use it only to understand how the site is used. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page. The site has no login and no forms, and the times‑table demo runs entirely in your browser.
